Loan Reservation Details

The Loan Reservation Details screen is displayed after the program and funding source is selected. This screen is comprised up of a number of tabs which is determined by the selected program under which the loan is being committed.

 

See the Loan Detail Tabs section for information on each of the loan detail tabs, However, there are certain special features to bear in mind during the Loan Reservation process, particularly the way the screens function, and the options offered in the Action bar.

 

NOTE: The fields available in the various Loan Detail tabs are based on the program and program type selected. Only fields applicable to the selected program are presented.

 

The Action bar lists the actions that can be performed in a particular screen throughout the system.

 

The following actions can be performed on the Loan Reservation Details screen when making a reservation:

 

IMPORTANT: Once a user enters the SSN (Social Security Number) and Property Address of a loan, the system automatically checks for that SSN or address. If a duplicate is found and the program is set up for duplicate borrowers, the reservation can continue. However, if a duplicate is found and the program is not set up for duplicate borrowers, then the system prevents the reservation from continuing until the matter is resolved. Validation checks include all loans with a status of Current, Exceptions, Cancelled and Rejected.

 

Click the Submit button to save the information entered for the new loan. After the loan is submitted, the Disbursement History tab is displayed, if required by the selected program. If so, enter the required information. (This tab may also be required during the Funding Approval process.) If Disbursement is not required, then processing of the loan may begin.

 

Finally, after a loan is initially reserved, the Address field can no longer be edited in SF Web. Users must contact the agency to make changes to the address.
